Run where the wild things roam! The Big Five Marathon takes you across the breathtaking savannah, offering two distances for all adventurers:

To ensure a fair and safe race for everyone, please keep these rules in mind:

Change of Distance: Switching distances during the race will result in an FNT (finished no time). Changes before race day will be officially registered.
Top Finishers: The first three male and female finishers are determined by who crosses the finish line first, not net time.
Gear: Nordic walking and trekking poles are not permitted.
Safety: Runner safety is our top priority. We may pick up runners if necessary for their well-being.

Your health matters. All participants are responsible for their own travel insurance.

On-site Medical Assistance:

English-speaking Danish doctors and South African paramedics will be present throughout the event, ready to assist with injuries or exhaustion.
Albatros Adventure Marathons ensures a qualified medical team is available. If further treatment is needed at local facilities, neither the medical team nor the travel agency is liable for external care.
